Video

Portions of this video were shot on one very hot August night during the demolition of the historic Houston Coliseum & Music Hall.

There was no electricity so the Guppies rented several generators and with the help of a very large crew, filmed what would be the last band to play in the Houston Music Hall.

During the shoot, the back wall of the music hall was knocked out and you can see what was the Coliseum laying in rubble with I-45 traffic in motion behind that.

The music hall has since been replaced by the beautiful Hobby Center, which the Guppies were the first band to play at.

We would like to thank John Angelina, D.H. Griffin Demolition Co., Floyd Simpson, Russell Boyd, John Lynch, Larry Warren, Glen Mondshine, Manville City Music/Mike Ferrara & Jimmy Berdett, Lil Red Sound/Fred Hubner & Chris Hostetler, Jarad Standefer & Austin Mcnair, also Keith York, Bill Berger, Darrell Green, Geovani Godley, Tommy Kareey, Fran Franks, and Richard Earl Laster.
